FIGURATIVELY: February 4th - March 28, 2026
FIGURATIVELY brings together six acclaimed artists from the Pittsburgh region to explore one of art’s most enduring subjects: the human figure. Across centuries, artists have returned to the figure as a way to understand identity, emotion, and what it means to be human. This exhibition continues that lineage, offering contemporary interpretations that feel both personal and universal.
Working across ceramic sculpture, watercolor, oil, and acrylic, each artist approaches the figure through a distinct visual language and process. Together, the works reveal the figure not simply as anatomy, but as a vessel for memory, identity, and expression.
The familiarity of the human form creates an immediate point of connection for viewers. In FIGURATIVELY, we invite you to explore these varied perspectives and experience how six artistic voices come into conversation—offering moments of recognition, reflection, and empathy.
