Heather Kanazawa is a Pennsylvania-based artist whose work draws from vivid, sensory memories of the natural world. Through abstraction, she distills fleeting moments—shifts in light, color, and movement—into layered compositions that feel both immediate and reflective. Her paintings explore memory as fragment rather than narrative, inviting viewers to find their own sense of place within each work.

Kanazawa earned her BFA and MA in Art Education from Edinboro University, and has exhibited throughout the region, including at Glass Growers Gallery, the Crary Art Gallery, and the Wellsville Creative Arts Center.
